Cleveland based photographer Ricky Rhodes received a Bachelor's of Visual Communication with a minor in Art History from the Scripps School of Communication at Ohio University in 2010.  

Ricky has been the recipient of several photography awards including the Magenta Foundation Flash Forward Emerging Photographer award and American Photography 31. His work has also been featured on PDN picture of the day, Juxtapoz Magazine,, And The Ones We Love. 

His work has been featured in group exhibitions such as the “Magenta Foundation Flash Forward 2015” show at both the Flash Forward Festival in Boston, and at the Division Gallery in Toronto, and the “Mimeo Revolution” exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland.  Other galleries featuring Ricky’s photography include the Cleveland Print Room, Viaduct Gallery in Des Moines, the Human Gallery in Brooklyn, and the Antenna Gallery in New Orleans.

Ricky has worked with Another Escape, Brownbook, Bon Appétit, C3 Advertising, Country Living, Dwell, Ford, Google, K+S, KeyBank, Le Monde, NBC, Shurtech, Team Detroit, The Daily Mail, The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, TimkenSteel, Toaster, TWIST., Westin Hotels, and Wyse Advertising commercially.

When he isn't taking pictures, Ricky enjoys hiking with Stanley his Newfoundland, coffee, rare photo books and traveling as much as possible.
